A new outbreak thriller is clawing its way onto screens this week as ITCH! arrives in the U.S. on April 21, 2026 across cable, satellite, telco, and digital platforms, following a U.K. digital release on April 20. Written and directed by Bari Kang, the film blends horror and sci-fi into a tense, character-driven survival story.
The film stars Bari Kang, Patrick Michael Valley, Ximena Uribe, Mia Ventura Lucas, and Douglas Stirling, and centers on a rapidly spreading infection known as “the ITCH!”—a violent outbreak that drives its victims into frenzied, self-destructive states. At the heart of the chaos is Jay, a grieving widower who takes refuge in a department store with his estranged daughter, Olivia, hoping to outlast the collapse outside.
What begins as a safe haven quickly unravels. As paranoia builds and the infection creeps closer, the real threat shifts inward. Alliances fracture, trust erodes, and survival demands choices that test the limits of loyalty and humanity. The film leans into both external horror and psychological tension, pushing its characters toward an intense and unforgiving climax.
Produced by Bari Kang and Monica De Oliveira, ITCH! is distributed by Trinity Content Partners in association with Seven Tales.
