A rescue mission turns into a brutal fight for survival in The Yeti, a blood-soaked creature feature arriving on Blu-ray and DVD May 19 from Well Go USA Entertainment, with the film currently available on digital platforms.
Directed by Emmy Award winner William Pisciotta and co-written with Gene Gallerano, the film follows a team of elite adventurers sent into the frozen wilderness of northern Alaska after a high-profile expedition vanishes without a trace. What begins as a calculated rescue quickly spirals into chaos when the group realizes they’ve entered the domain of a relentless and deadly predator.
The ensemble cast features Brittany Allen, Eric Nelsen, Corbin Bernsen, Jim Cummings, Christina Bennett Lind, and William Sadler.
Positioned as a throwback to classic monster cinema, The Yeti leans heavily into practical effects, grounded characters, and a steady build of tension. Pisciotta and Gallerano describe the film as an “elevated creature feature,” blending the widescreen spectacle of 1950s-era monster movies with a modern, kinetic style.
Set against the unforgiving Alaskan landscape, the film combines environmental survival horror with visceral creature carnage, delivering a stripped-down, high-stakes experience where the cold isn’t the only thing hunting the team.
