Get ready for a frigid fight for survival when A Deadly Ride speeds onto streaming February 4th.
This chilling thriller stars Jamie Bernadette (I Spit on Your Grave: Deja Vu, NCIS: New Orleans), B.J. Britt (Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Vampires Suck), and Chris Whitcomb (Junction), with Glenn Ciano (Inkubus) at the helm.
A ride-share trip gone horribly wrong is at the heart of this bloody battle for survival. Cary (Britt), a driver drowning in debt, has a side hustle robbing his passengers’ vacant homes. But when he picks up heartbroken Kailey (Bernadette), reeling from her boyfriend’s infidelity, fate takes a vicious turn. Cary accidentally hits Adrian (Whitcomb), a jogger, and in a moment of panic, he decides to eliminate witnesses—including Kailey. However, his plan backfires when both Kailey and Adrian survive. Injured and stranded in a relentless snowstorm, the two must join forces to evade their deranged pursuer, leading to a brutal fight for survival where justice and morality become as blurred as the blizzard around them.
Director Glenn Ciano describes the film as “A WILD deadly ride, anchored by strong character performances by Jamie Bernadette and BJ Britt who are on an unstoppable collision course. I haven't had this much fun making a movie since Inkubus with Robert Englund.”
For Jamie Bernadette, the grueling shoot added an extra layer of realism. “Almost the entire film was shot at nighttime in temperatures going as low as 2 degrees, and some nights filmed in a snowstorm. The harsh conditions weren’t just a backdrop—they became part of the story itself. I didn’t need to ‘act’ cold—I was cold. I think it truly brought out some great performances in all of us,” she shares. “Couple that with a phenomenal director, producing team, cast, and crew who were supportive and fun, and you have a gem of an experience.”
With its claustrophobic winter setting, high-stakes tension, and raw performances, A Deadly Ride promises a nerve-shredding experience. Catch it on Amazon and Fandango starting February 4th, with more streaming platforms to follow in March.
