Jungle Scandals—A Wild New Adventure, Now on Kickstarter

J. Manfred Weichsel is back with another off-the-wall, no-holds-barred anthology! Following the success of Sword & Scandal, the next bold installment, Jungle Scandals, is now live on Kickstarter. This pulp-inspired collection takes readers deep into the jungles of Africa, Indonesia, and the Amazon with stories that channel the spirit of Edgar Rice Burroughs, Joseph Conrad, Rudyard Kipling, and H. Rider Haggard—but with a modern, fearless twist.

What Is Jungle Scandals?

This book celebrates high adventure, unexpected humor, and thrilling storytelling. Inspired by classic jungle tales, Jungle Scandals pushes the boundaries of pulp fiction while keeping the sense of excitement and mystery alive. Expect fast-paced action, strange twists, and stories that defy convention.

As with Sword & Scandal, Jungle Scandals will have an open call for submissions, ensuring a democratic selection process that brings in the wildest, weirdest, and most outrageous tales possible. Last time, 47 submissions led to 11 chosen stories, plus the 5,600-word story author and editor J. Manfred Weichsel wrote with the backer who selected the design-your-own-story tier. This time, with growing buzz, submissions are expected to be even higher—and they're looking for stories that no traditional publisher would dare touch.
